Quality Assurance Trainee

Job description

We are searching for a seasoned QA engineer with strong automation skills and manual QA experience. We are looking for someone who owns all aspects of quality independently. With your scripting and analytical skills you should be able to implement QA processes and solutions as per team's goals and also have a passion about changing the way millions of people save energy.

You'll work within the Engineering Team to test product features, APIs, CLI functions and apply test automation and other technical skills to deliver. You'll be a part of building a robust analytics platform that crunches massive amounts of data and leverages it to deliver a compelling user experience to users across our platforms.

Technical Skills :

- 6 months to 2 years of experience in Functional and Automation QA for Web Applications.

- Good understanding of domain\product under test.

- Review requirements, Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

- Execute tests and analyze results.

- Aware of Test Management concepts.

- Working knowledge in testing API

- Aware of Database concepts.

- Proficient in API testing using Postman.

- Proficient in Database concepts, Strong knowledge of SQL, and experience with MySQL.

- Experience with MySQL will be an advantage.

- Proficient in coding using Java language.

- Strong in Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).

- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools for cross-browser testing

- Awareness of various types of Testing Frameworks (Keyword driven, hybrid, data-driven, etc.)

Soft skills :

- Be excited to work with talented, committed people in a fast-paced environment.

- Problem-solving attitude with logical thinking.

- Good academic scores and background; preferably B.E.B.Tech.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Willing to learn and explore new technologies.
